IT IS THE SMARTER WAY TO BUILD.
Our History
In 1986, Kacy Caviston built his first new home Northwest of Boston. In 1987, he was joined by his brother Jack, and together they founded Newtowne Development to develop land and build numerous new homes and neighborhoods. In 1997, Kacy and Jack Caviston founded Rolling Meadow Construction, Inc. after years of running this traditional development company.
Shortages of land and labor, and increased obstacles in the permitting process made them question what future there was for small builders in this changing industry. They decided to combine their years of construction experience with modern technology now available to the construction industry. They chose to become one of the few builders abandoning conventional site building to embrace a new systems built approach to building.
Rolling Meadow Construction, Inc. was formed as a new, unique type of construction company specializing in custom designed and built modular homes and additions. They partnered with a select few of New England’s leading manufacturers of modular homes.
In 2012, after his brother became ill and passed away, Kacy transformed the company to a new type of construction company, Commercial Modular Construction Services, dedicated to providing construction for permanent commercial modular structures.
In July 2021, Wesbuilt acquired Commercial Modular Construction to expand its business into the modular industry. Wesbuilt Modular, LLC specializes in the modular construction of apartments, townhouses, condominiums, hotels, dormitories, niche residential, and commercial buildings throughout New Jersey, New York and New England. Services include site analysis, design, building systems consulting, project supervision, project management and construction management.
